E.V: Electric Vehicle. A vehicle powered by electricity. This can include: battery, hydrogen, solar, wind and standard ac/dc.

B.E.V: Battery Electric Vehicle. A little more specific.

N.E.V: Neighborhood Electric Vehicle. Electric powered vehicle, legally able to drive in low speed neighborhoods. Not highway legal.

I.C.E's: Internal Combustible Engines. Gas powered vehicles.

Hybrid: Combination of  gas powered and electric powered. As technology progresses, we suspect that this term will be expanded to include which combinations (wind, electric etc.)

Alternative Fuels: Generally meaning any vehicle propellant other than oil based.

Hydrogen Powered Vehicle:  (Wikipedia) A hydrogen vehicle is a vehicle that uses hydrogen as its on-board fuel for motive power. The power plants of such vehicles convert the chemical energy of hydrogen to mechanical energy (torque) in one of two methods: combustion, or electrochemical conversion in a fuel-cell.
